gunmetal or mocha brown
going underground as a full house
of exaggerated caricatures
like dismantled emancipated females
donning head-hugging hats
and two-toned saddles
in order to supplant the khakis
and the grays of our parents
while traveling transatlantic
packing spats and a brimmed felt hat
called, “gangsta” in tweed jackets
and pin-striped pants raising hats
and doffing caps simply knowns as, “dapper”
with slicked-backed hair
picked up dramatically by the camera
appearing to be, “camp” labeled as, “fast”
often veiled strange happenings
producing rappings intonations and accents
via Gregorian Chants and lit corpse candles...
